shopping for the NEEDS

Isn't she a beauty? Jayson knows how much I want a double oven - and a good one at that. Let's just say this new addition to our family ate more than half the appliance allowance...but we were planning on it! Jayson wanted me to have the very best since I love being in the kitchen so much.

This wasn't my first choice, but next in line. I wanted the french doors, but not a big fan of water on the door...but considering I got the double ovens, Jayson can have his ice and water :)

We spent ALL day looking at flooring, lighting, cabinets, and appliances. We purchased the ovens, microwave, fridge, hood vent, and garbage disposal. I wasn't set on the cook top I saw- so I'll keep searching. We signed our cabinet contract today, and picked out hardware. I'm having some mental problems wrapping my brain around the flooring. I felt like it was a pretty productive day, but damn...I'm worn OUT!

where did July go?

I am at work, yes, not working...and all my pics are on my home computer - so they will have to come later!
What a month! It seems like it just started, and in a week it will be over. Our family has been busy liv'in the dream...what dream I'm not quite sure, but it's a good one.
Joslynn spent 2 weeks with her mom in St. George, mostly in the pool the entire time. She got back just in time for girls camp. Moms were invited for the first part. We took a tour of the Oqurriah Temple, and it was so great to share that experience with Joslynn. We then went to Temple Square and listened to the sister missionaries share some Hymns and their testimonies with us. The girls then had a short testimony meeting. We ate lunch at Lion House Pantry (mmmm), and then left for home. The girls stayed the night at a KOA, played games, ate food, and had fun! They spent the next day at the Salt Lake DUP Museum.
We celebrated my big-brothers birthday on July 4th up Blacksmith Fork. They purchased 30+ acres, and have named it the "Dragon Ass." Marni got Andrew a pool for his birthday, and the kids enjoyed it very much! I love spending time with my family. It was a great day to relax!
The 4-way inspection was done this morning, Drywall and sheeting starting tomorrow. Doors by Friday, and Windows and Siding next week. We are getting so very excited for a new house - just wish we didn't have to leave our neighbors and friends. ( I know, we are moving 2 WHOLE MILES, but it feels like the other side of the world. Our house is supposed to be done by Sept 1 - YIKES, 5 weeks away!
I just finished up a State Audit at Riverwalk with flying colors - whew! I hate audits. Went home at 4:30 with a migraine from the dark side. Jayson is still working out of town, so It's a little hard to function without him. He is in Fillmore (or the Fillmore beaver area as the joke goes), for ONE more week - yea right! That was the story last week.
Ashton took off his training wheels - and was OFF! NO HELP! Now...he wants a motorcycle. WHAT??? Ashton wasn't to be like the boys on Nitro Circus. He's my little Evil Knievel, and it freaks me out! Brady (our neighbor) brought over his Razor motorbike, and Ashton got on and rode off...no shoes, no helmet. This boy is gonna put me in the grave. Jayson went to KSL, and is determined to get him a motorbike and riding gear ASAP! AGHHH.
like they say, it's a crazy life, but it's mine.

if tomorrow never comes...

Isn't it ironic how an event in our life can make us sober? My mishap with my girlfriend last Monday has made me think of a few things. I have wonderful friends, family, and an amazing husband!
"If tomorrow never comes, will they know how much I love them?"
Jayson has been working so hard at work, and doing "sweat equity" on the house on the side. Works been a little "much" lately, and I've been worried about him. He's not angry, or pissy...just...well, WARN OUT! He slept in Sunday morning till 10:30 - THIS NEVER HAPPENS! This man wakes up at 5:30 just to make breakfast each weekend.
Last weekend I went out with the girls to Salt Lake. We enjoyed a VERY expensive dinner at The Melting Pot, soooo much fun - and shopping and more eating on Saturday. Jayson kept the kids, happily, and still managed to frame the porch for the porch cap. When I got home the kids had went out to Grandmas, and Jayson and I spent some time at the house just talking.
Tuesday night I came home with a migraine. It's been awhile since I've had one that bad. He ran to Hyrum, got McDonald's for Addy and Ashton (Jos is visiting her mom), started a movie and went to help Steve haul hay. Came home, picked up, bathed kids and took out the trash and let me sleep. Yes, I slept from the time I got home until 7 this morning.
When I got to work, I noticed that one of my friends had posted a link to last nights Americas Got Talent, for a Mr. Kevin Skinner. *check it out on You Tube*
I started to cry..sob...bawl! This guy is good, but it was the song he sings.

Jayson - I just want you to know - If tomorrow never comes, I LOVE YOU! You are an amazing person. I know that I whine A LOT, about A LOT, and forget sometimes that you are the one thing that still keeps me in my place and smiling! You go to work everyday so that we have have what we need/want. I know that every marriage has it's storms, and we have endured many - but the sun keeps coming back. I loved you then, I love you now!
